Our Personal Electronic Devices (PED) Vaults are RF and acoustic containers that prevent PEDs like cell phones from being exploited by technical surveillance equipment.
Operational scenarios may require the ability to secure mobile phones or pagers. These devices may be subject to theft or manipulation if left unattended, but a PED Vault lets visitors securely deposit their devices inside a secure area.
The PED Vault prevents a device’s microphone from recording or listening to nearby conversations, and it prevents wireless communications, including cellular, 802.11, and Bluetooth, as well as IR paths.
The PED Vault is a comprehensive RF and acoustical security solution for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), Temporary SCIFs, and Temporary Secure Working Facilities (TSWF).
